There will be no meeting on Monday, May 26th, due to Memorial Day.  We look forward to seeing everyone on Monday, June 2nd.

 

With Julie Strenn taking a new job position (Congratulations Julie!), she is unable to continue as our club secretary.  This position entails invoicing, minutes of board meetings, and attendance.  Please let Ron know if you are willing to serve in this position and on our Board of Directors.

 

Sue Sippel will be serving as interim club secretary.  If you have attendance or billing questions, Sue can be reached via email.

 

Our Foundation Calendar Raffle begins in July.  Tickets were distributed at our May 5th meeting.  We aim to raise $5000, meaning 500 tickets will be sold.  We ask all Rotarians to sell nine tickets.  To meet our goal, we would need around 12 tickets per Rotarian.  Thank you for being so supportive of our Foundation!  Please return tickets to our June 23rd meeting!

 

We will be having a table on June 3^rd from 4 pm-7 pm to sell raffle tickets at the Food Truck Lot, 940 Huntington Ave.  We are looking for 2-3 volunteers for shifts (4-5 pm, 5-6 pm & 6-7 pm).  Please reach out to Jen Allen to sign up. jallen@bgcwra.org   (we will have a makeup day for weather, which will be June 10^th)

 

Amy Vetter, Aging & Disability Resource Center of Central Wisconsin Resource Specialist, presented on what ADRC does for all ages and the various programs they offer for residents of Central Wisconsin.  She discussed volunteer opportunities available and a need for the Meals on Wheels program.  She supplied a resource guide and multiple brochures for club members.  To learn more about the ADRC, visit https://www.adrc-cw.org/
