The combined District Conference of Rotary Districts 6220, 6250, and 6270 is called TriCon, and will be held Friday April 29 and Saturday April 30 at the Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake, WI. Open to all Rotarians, come listen to some Amazing Speakers, and build some Strong Connections! Registration is $30 today, but increases to $45 on March first. Our Foundation Drive is in progress and we hope to wrap it up by March 14th. Our goal is to have ALL Rotarians contribute to our Foundation which allows us to do good in the community and in the world. Contribute what you are able - we ask $250 per Rotarian but give what you can -- more, or less. We would much prefer you gave $10 than not participate this year. Mail your contribution to Wis Rapids Rotary Foundation, 2511 8th Street S # 157, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494. Or bring to our Monday meeting and give to Warren to deliver to our Treasurer. Let's have 100% participation!
If you are at least 60 years old and your age plus your years of Rotary membership add up to 85 or more, you are eligible to apply for our Rule of 85. The only thing that changes for Rule of 85 members is they will no longer be prebilled for meals, and will only be invoiced for the meals eaten each quarter. Rule of 85 members are still considered active members, are encouraged to attend regular meetings, service events, and socials, and are eligible to serve as officers or board members. To apply for Rule of 85, request a form from Sue Sippel or Warren Miller.
