We will be putting together 60 stockings (Claire will provide) at our December 1st meeting. We can't know the ages or genders of the kiddos, so please purchase a range of items that can fit inside a stocking. If you're unable to make the December 1st meeting, items can be brought in next week or you can arrange a pick-up with Claire.
Rotarians around the world are celebrating the impact of The Rotary Foundation in November. We celebrate by remembering the impact our support is having on eradicating polio, funding humanitarian community projects sponsored by clubs, and the ways in which our work helps create peace by alleviating the need where it exists.
Noon Rotary is currently at $1,503, or 37.5% of our goal of $4,000 for this Rotary year (last year, the club gave $8,502).
Last week we welcomed John Omernik, President of The Little Spanish-English School to the club! John is a former Rapids resident (and Youth Rotar!) who has recently moved back to town.
Mike Reuteman from Sand Valley Golf Course spoke last week. Mike educated the group about the many amenities available at Sand Valley in addition to the world class golf courses, making them the biggest employer in Adams County. To learn more about some of their upcoming events that are open to the public, visit sandvalleygolf.com.
