Our Foundation Calendar Raffle begins in July.  Tickets were distributed at our May 6th meeting.  Our goal is to raise $5000 which means 500 tickets sold.  We ask all Rotarians to sell 9 tickets.  To meet our goal it would be around 12 tickets per Rotarian.  Thank you for your support of our Foundation!

 

Join us to help our littlest community members receive the supplies they need.  We are supporting the United Way Diaper Drive being held between Mother's Day and Father's Day (May 13 to June 14).  Please bring diapers of all sizes, diaper rash cream/paste, and unscented wipes to our May and June meetings.

 

German Olivares and Dan Pelot, Wisconsin Rapids Police Department School Resource Officers, presented on their roles within the Wisconsin Rapids Public Schools.  Goals of the SROs are to  

• Assist schools in maintaining a safe learning environment.
• Build confident, trusting relationships with school staff and students. 
• Reduce disruptive behaviors and crimes.
