We are proud to welcome John Gethers as our newest member of the Noon Rotary Club of Wisconsin Rapids. John is the President of Tech Pros which is a full service IT company providing services throughout the Midwest. Tech Pros is now the IT company for Matalco throughout the United States.
David Farmbrough, President of the Wisconsin Rapids Community Theatre, and Gretchen Powers, Director of the Wisconsin Rapids Community Theatre presented a check for our second year of support of the Summer Youth Theater program. David and Gretchen provided the club with further information on how our support meets a huge need in our community and looking for growth this upcoming summer.
It's time for our Foundation to raise money to help us to continue to do good in our community and in the world. This past year we donated to numerous good causes in the Rapids area including United Way, our Special Needs Boy Scout Troop, Rotary Ramps, FOCUS Neighborhood Meals, WRCT Summer Youth Theatre, the LHS Interact Club, as well as youth scholarships both for our local students plus a student in India and one in Tanzania, plus more!
We are asking each of our members to consider making an annual gift to our local Foundation. We have two goals:
• Raise a minimum of $10000;
• Have 100% of our Club's Rotarians contribute.
To make this happen, our suggested contribution is $275 per Rotarian, but we just ask that you give as you can -- either more or less. No gift is too small. No gift is too large. Help us help others!

In addition, it was explained how our Rotary members are Chamber members as our Noon Rotary is a Chamber member. Feel free to attend Chamber events such as Coffee with the Chamber, Networking at Night, and signature events.
