World Polio Day is Monday, October 24th – Donations Needed

This Monday is World Polio Day. We are making progress on eradicating Polio, but unfortunately since the pandemic we have had a few cases of polio show up in areas of the world where it hasn’t been found in decades. The time for urgent action is now. You can help us make an impact and stop the spread of polio, by making your annual contribution to Polio Plus NOW!

Two easy ways to donate:

Write out a check to The Rotary Foundation and bring it to our meeting on Monday. We’ll have a simple form for you to fill out and then we’ll mail the form (with your check) for you.
Go on-line to MyRotary.org, click the ‘Donate’ button. Select Polio Plus and the amount you want to give, and fill out your name and credit card.
Go to wisconsinrapidsnoonrotary.org. Go to Membership, then select Downloads. Click on the International Foundation Contribution Form, and you will be able to fill out and print a contribution form to mail with your check or credit card information.

Former Rotarian Edwin A. Keller, age 86, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022. Edwin was a long time active Rotarian who served for many years as treasurer of the Wisconsin Rapids Rotary Club.
