Our annual meeting will be on Monday, December 4th.  At this meeting we will elect our 2024-25 officers and directors as well as receive our official treasurer’s report.

We had a great time with Scout Troop 105 Wednesday night shopping at Walmart to buy gifts to donate to Toys for Tots.

The LHS Madrigal Singers will be presenting songs of the season for us on December 18th, our last meeting for the year. Spouses/guests are welcome! We will ask for a show of hands this Monday as to who might be bringing a guest so BEGC will have an idea of how many meals to prepare. Talk to your spouse/friend now so you know this Monday. Plan on joining us as we celebrate Christmas!

Jim Campbell, Co-Founder and current board member of the Never Forgotten Honor Flight shared details and experiences of veterans who have been on one of the missions to Washington D.C. The Never Forgotten Honor Flight is a Not-For-Profit Organization of dedicated Volunteers providing Veterans with closure, gratitude & respect, by flying them to Washington D.C. to visit their memorials.  Priority is given to terminally ill veterans; followed by veterans serving BEFORE May 7, 1975.  NFHF launches four flights each year in April, May, September, & October.  To date 4,399 veterans have attended from the NFHF region.
