Our Noon Rotary Club will be volunteering on Thursday, March 21st from 4 pm to 6 pm. We are looking for 7 to 10 Rotarians, spouses, etc. to have a great time together while helping serve others. One very unique aspect of the District 6250 Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) Camp is that we invite Rotarians (like you and your club members), to join our staff and share their knowledge, and Rotary experiences during this awesome opportunity to mentor young people in our communities

New staff will be required to arrive the evening of Thursday May 16th, 2024 for additional onsite training. If you’re a returning volunteer, you could arrive Friday morning.
Staff is eligible to receive mileage reimbursement for your travel to/from WI Dells.
It's time for our Foundation to raise money to help us to continue to do good in our community and in the world. This past year we donated to numerous good causes in the Rapids area including United Way, our Special Needs Boy Scout Troop, Rotary Ramps, FOCUS Neighborhood Meals, WRCT Summer Youth Theatre, the LHS Interact Club, as well as youth scholarships both for our local students plus a student in India and one in Tanzania, plus more!
We are asking each of our members to consider making an annual gift to our local Foundation. We have two goals:
• Raise a minimum of $10000;
• Have 100% of our Club's Rotarians contribute.
To make this happen, our suggested contribution is $275 per Rotarian, but we just ask that you give as you can -- either more or less. No gift is too small. No gift is too large. Help us help others!

Christine Nievinski, Director of The Hannah Center of Wisconsin Rapids, shared the history of the Hannah Center and its expansion to the Wisconsin Rapids community. Guided by Help, Healing, and Hope, the Hannah Center was founded in 1993 in Marshfield to provide a home for women in crisis and their children. Crisis examples include chronic homelessness, substance abuse, legal issues, crisis pregnancy, and lack of resources for independent living. Currently, the Hannah Center provides housing, a caring closet, life skill classes, mentors, health service consultations, legal service coordination, and transportation. Opening soon in Wisconsin Rapids, the Hannah Center will provide 3 bedrooms at their site on Pepper Avenue.
