Happy Friday Rotarians!

It was so good to see some of you in person last Monday at the YMCA/Boys & Girls Club walking tour.  What a fantastic collaboration between these organizations to see in this community.  The result of great leadership and community support.  A clean, bright, energetic and impressive facility!  Congratulations to not only Bret and Kent, but to Wisconsin Rapids on a job well done.  If you would like to see some photos of the evening check out the Wisconsin Rapids Noon Rotary Facebook Page

Don’t forget to join our noon meeting this week as there are some important updates from the local foundation with results from the recent survey, the club regarding the status of our future meetings, and a quick update on the Wisconsin Rapids Area Athletic Complex.

Now check out some of our other news and notables...

Congratulations to Sue Sippel and the club on earning the Presidential Citation…. Sue Sippel quietly led the club to an achievement we have not been recognized for in quite some time.  It is a measure and a marker that this club is “doing the right things.”  The Noon Rotary Club of Wisconsin Rapids earned the Presidential Citation last year 2019-2020.  This is a great achievement for our club and deserves a round of applause.  The unprecedented circumstances of 2020 made this an even greater accomplishment.  Thank you for your leadership Sue, and congratulations to the club on a very prestigious recognition.

The Prayer Committee is looking for members… If you are interested in giving the blessing at our meetings please join the prayer committee.  JR Siewert is asking for any members interested to reach out to him with any questions or desires to join.

Welcome to the November Youth Rotars…  Joining us for November from LHS we have Jared DeRoche, McKayla Blaser, and Sarah Price.   As always make them feel welcome, help introduce them to what Rotary is and does.  We are community role models for them.
