We are currently looking for a member to join our Club's Board of Directors. With a limited time commitment (~1 hour/month), here's your opportunity to serve by sharing with the Board your thoughts and ideas for a more successful and dynamic club. At the Board of Directors meeting last Monday, the Board voted Julie Strenn to serve as Secretary for the remainder of the 2023-24 year effective in November as Sue will be taking a step back from Director responsibilities.  With this move, we are looking for a new Director to serve on the club board.  Please see Ron if interested!

We again are collecting eyeglasses and pill bottles for the Lions Club. You may bring them to the Noon meeting and place them in the box which will be located by the welcome table.  It is great that we are able to work with another community organization.  Thank you to John Steele for organizing this effort!

Matt Lund, Executive Director at the South Wood County YMCA, shared the vision of the Y for 2023-2025.  There are 10,000 members at the Wisconsin Rapids location, designed for 6,000 members.  There are 1200 members at the 7,000-square-foot Adams location originally projected for 600 members.  The Y is currently exploring collaborative ventures with additional community partners.  Rotarians are encouraged to visit the Y locations as well as Camp Alexander if you have not visited recently.
