We inducted Ashley Buckingham from WFHR/WIRI Civic Media as the newest member of our club.  Please warmly welcome Ashley as you introduce yourself over the next few weeks.

 

With Julie Strenn taking a new job position (Congratulations Julie!), she is unable to continue as our club secretary.  This position entails invoicing, minutes of board meetings, and attendance.  Please let Ron know if you are willing to serve in this position and on our Board of Directors.

 

Sue Sippel will be serving as interim club secretary.  If you have attendance or billing questions, Sue can be reached via email.

 

Our Foundation Calendar Raffle begins in July.  Tickets were distributed at our May 5th meeting.  We aim to raise $5000, meaning 500 tickets will be sold.  We ask all Rotarians to sell nine tickets.  To meet our goal, we would need around 12 tickets per Rotarian.  Thank you for being so supportive of our Foundation!  Please return tickets to our June 23rd meeting!

 

Jenn Scott, a Sunrise Rotary Member, is the Education Program Manager for the Food + Farm Exploration Center.  Jen shared the many programs the FFEC offers for preschoolers through adults.  This spring, they have welcomed over 150 student field trips.  In her role, Jenn develops curriculum and works with teachers to increase the knowledge of agriculture in middle and high schools across the United States.  To learn more about the FFEC, visit https://explorefoodandfarm.org/
